I need some help with building my new dream home. I'm looking for some inspiration and even may want to purchase a good home plan / blueprints.

Can anyone suggest a good site online? I'm from Avondale Estates, Georgia. So, that might give you a good idea of the surrounding architecture

Hey there! Since you are from Georgia, I would suggest taking a look at Southern Living It has some unique house plans and it would definitely suit your southern style.

The site may also help you decide which type of house you want to go for. But, once you decide that, it is a lot of fun to go through the different styles of housing .. A-Frames, Bungalows, Cape Cods, Chalets, Colonial style homes, Farmhouses, Federal/Georgian, Southern style homes and many more.

You can also custom design your house. I thimnk it's quite a good buy.

Don't know if you guys knew this or not, but this forum is actually part of The Plan Collection website where you can find tons of southern style house plans - Just click the home link at the top of the page - no reason to go elsewhere. 

 In fact we probably sell more house plans in the South than any other area of the United States. Why? because we have a huge collection of house plans drawn by designers and architects from the Southern States and there is a lot of growth happening in there.
